Little King is thrilled to announce new information for our 8th studio release! The title is Lente Viviente, and the album is comprised of 7 tunes. The song titles are as follows:
- Catch and Release
- Dawn Villa
- Who’s Illegal?
- Kindness for Weakness
- Sweet Jessie James
- Pass Through Filters
- The Living Lens
The LK lineup has shifted! We welcome Tony Bojorquez of San Carlos, MX to the Little King family as our new drummer. He brings a wealth of experience, chops, and groove to our music, and we are grateful to have him. Fun Fact: Tony was a professional busker in New York City for a couple years! On bass and cello is our old friend Dave Hamilton. Dave played cello on both Amuse De Q (2021) and Occam’s Foil (2019) and has joined us live a few times in the last couple years. He is an incredibly accomplished bass player and cellist and an all-around great guy. Of course, Ryan Rosoff is back on guitar and vocals (since 1996!) In addition, Laura Sadie Bette from the band Curfew is contributing backing vocals.
Lente Viviente is being recorded at Cimamusic in Tucson, AZ, by Ricky Wascher Tavares. The album will be mixed at Command Space Audio in Los Angeles in late June/early July by Daniel Salcido who has been at the mixing helm for the last 2 Little King singles and the album Amuse De Q in 2021. Album artwork is being produced by Savannah Maher. If all is well, the album release should happen in early September, 2025.
More details to come as Lente Viviente (oh yeah…that’s Spanish for “Living Lens”…more on that soon as well.) For now, we are hard at work finishing the tracks and making sure the filters are set. Cannot wait to share it with YOU…the Faithful FOLK.
