As off-and-on residents of Tucson since 1990, it was a personal thrill to perform live in the KXCI Studios on July 6, 2026. LK members Ryan Rosoff and Tony Bojorquez discussed the history of the band over 30 years of recording and touring, the July jaunt through the west coast (including their show in Tucson at the Brick Box Brewery on July 12), and their new single, “Opus Perficit.”
In addition to the interview, Ryan and Tony busted out some acoustic versions of three older songs including “Amber Waves (GoodBye),” “Mea Culpa,” and “Set It Down.” The interview delved into the motivation behind the new single as well as tidbits on the creative and recording process, the band’s deep friendships, and the joys (and challenges) of living and creating art in the Old Pueblo.
